Start Simple was founded by Tricia Bryski, a seasoned corporate professional and entrepreneur who recognized a major gap in the entrepreneurial world: while software startups get all the attention (and all the resources), everyday service and retail ventures are left behind. 

Driven by this personal experience, Start Simple was born to provide hands-on, experienced guidance for those ready to launch a side hustle or a full-fledged business. We believe in empowering hardworking individuals to succeed in everything from local services to brick-and-mortar shops, offering step-by-step support and mentorship that’s rooted in real-world experience. 

Our mission is simple: show aspiring entrepreneurs that they don’t need to go it alone when launching a business outside the software space—there’s a path, there’s a process, and there’s a trusted community ready to help them thrive.

  • You’ll learn the essential simple steps for starting and running a service-based business, from developing your idea to managing operations and marketing effectively. Our program covers practical skills like financial planning, client acquisition, and business management, ensuring you end the workshop with an active business.

  • Our workshop runs for 6 weeks, with sessions held every Saturday for about 6 hours. In addition to the workshops, you will want to dedicate time during the week for online collaboration, homework and for implementing what you’ve learned while working on your business.

  • Not necessarily! Our workshop is designed for both those who have a business idea and those who are exploring different options. We’ll help you develop your concept and refine your plan, so you’re ready to take action during our program.

  • This is actually the best part of Start Simple!

    Yes! When you join a Start Simple workshop, you become part of a supportive network of fellow entrepreneurs. We offer accountability and support groups to keep you motivated and on track, and you’ll have access to a community of like-minded individuals to share your journey with.

  • We are confident in the value of our program but, If you attend the first two Saturday sessions and feel you’re not getting what you expected, we’ll offer a full refund—no questions asked. After that, all payments are final, but we’ll continue to provide support to help you get the most out of the workshop.
